LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Salman Khan has trigeminal neuralgia, facial nerve pain, and an aneurysm. Salman Khan reveals his trigeminal neuralgia will be treated by doctors in the United States. In a news statement Friday, the Bollywood actor tells fans how the trigeminal neuralgia condition began, then disappeared, and finally reappeared recently. In an honest, detailed statement to news, the beloved actor explains how he intends to treat the conditionally medically in the United States.

“So I’m going now to the US to get it fixed. As a result, I’m not going to be in Mumbai for the Bodyguard release, Eid and Ganesh Chaturthi” he said Friday. Salman Khan says his trigeminal neuralgia condition started roughly four years ago during filming of Partner. He said the condition started as a peculiar pain on the left side of his face. He said that if he pushed his face, the section would give a “solid current”.

Three years later, during filming of Veer, the pain moved dramatically further to his lower jaw. “[I] it was so painful that it used to take me about an-hour-and-a-half to eat my omelets” he explained. He said he had to increase his medication substantially. Then the pain disappeared briefly. But a year ago, it returned.

Salman Khan said the condition often results in suicides for other individuals. But he says “I don’t get any such feelings. I’ve started enjoying it now. But it’s getting too much. If there was a choice to give this pain to my worst enemy, I would not give it. They wouldn’t be able to take it.”

MRI tests confirmed his belief that he had Trigeminal Neuralgia. A subsequent angiography revealed where it came from. “Usually, one nerve is wrapped around one vein. But since nothing simple can happen to me, there are about four or five of them wrapped around mine.” He also did a full body check to see if there was anything else wrong with his brain. Yet “they found something at the back of my head; it’s called Aneurysm.”

He says he is blessed he doesn’t have cancer. He says his greatest concern was the condition was cancer or could lead to cancer. He thanked fans for their support.
