The highly trained staff at Payke Gymnastics Academy educates burgeoning benders ages 2.5 and up in a variety of fundamental gymnastic skills during weekly 1- to 1.5-hour lessons. Whippersnappers as young as 3 years old learn the basics of the vault, bars, beam, mini-trampoline, and gargantuan-trampoline during KinderGym classes. Pupils glean skills for developing flexibility and strength while building self-confidence, coordination, and the ability to balance a spinning plate on their chin. Older amateurs can enroll in the girls' beginner course, working on flexibility, headstands, handstands, and lemonade stands, as well as a light introduction to gymnastics apparatus. Ladies aged 8 and up can continue honing their skills on the trampoline, bars, beam, vault, and floor in the intermediate course, beginning to meld learned skills and routines into multifaceted gymnastic sequences as multifaceted as the Power Rangers Megazord.
