Just finished watching latest X-men movie with Jacob... He got me totally wrapped up in it... Even though he had to keep explaining to me who had which magical powers.. And what they they did. Who thinks up this stuff?
Coolest ideas for new sign. Big square head rusty nails... Shot by an arrow.. Hit with a hatchet.. Bullet holes blown into it.. With a twist of loony tunes.. And a splash of fantasy island.
Roloff Farm is badly needing a new sign down at the road. The carved one at the gate is doing great... but the one at the main road.. has been rained on.. Snowed on..driven into. pushed.. pulled.. knocked with the dozer.. and even shot at. ...Did i mentioned it's been photographed a lot too. Anybody have ideas for a new fresh look?
Molly's Castle... Still my favorite structure.. But the new stuff this year is a close second... Hope you all come visit this year.. You're in for a real treat!! The Farm looks fantastic!...Remember you're all invited to my 50th Bday party.. 2nd weekend-end in October.
Mueller's over helping Jacob change the bulb in our projector. I'm so proud that while Zach's at work and Jere's away... their best buddy is helping play big brother to Jacob. Life is Great!
Wish I could post photos of everything going on.. but... just have to be patient sometimes. Everything I hold back on.. you'll get to see at some point. :)
Tomorrow is all about dirt. Moving it, plowing it, cleaning it, raking it, jarring it. Playing in it. I love dirt ... And lots of it. Better get to sleep so I can get busy in the dirt first thing tomorrow.
Anybody read up on Herman Cain's 9-9-9 plan? It sounds interesting? I'm for any Aggressive solution to get the economy and jobs rolling again. What I like about this plan is the predictability factor of small business tax liability. Then we can start hiring more employees right away. I'm going to follow this idea to see what others think. My dad turned me on to this guy.
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Cor 15:58. I love this verse.
I have six speaking engagements across the country over the next 6 weeks.. Plus. Getting the farm ready for pumpkins.. And keeping the film crew capturing their content...plus all my normal dirt work and office work. Busy months coming up.
One angle on the new addition to Roloff Farm. The new homestead in the back ground. Has wheat growing on it currently. (see lots of details in my comments below)
My prayers are with all the East Coasters that are fighting through the horrific storm. May God Bless you! And keep you safe and strong.
I've been waiting almost 6 months to announce this: Roloff Farm has just completed an expansion. We have almost tripled in size. From 34+ acres to 110acres. More Acres.. More Pumpkins... more parking.. more fun!.... errrrr more work for Matt. We have purchased the property directly to our south.
Spent several hours today doing back to back phone interviews with 6 on-line journalist/editors. always interesting to hear their questions. They always make me think.. I'll try to make sure our publicist announces the links as they get published ... To keep you all in the loop. More likely they will be available on www.roloffworld.blogspot.com Dallah seems to be more in the loop than I am most days. :))
A great day today.. Jer got off on his new adventures.. Zach and I laughed and cried together.... Well ... zach laughed, while I cried.. Zach immediately took over Jer's garage bay.. He loves it.. Even if it is only for a few months.. Zach has big (but very different) plans in the works too.
Jeremy moves to California tomorrow to start photo school. He'll be back to visit and help during pumpkin season... Roloff Farm will never be the same again. I'm happy and sad at the same time. :) :(. You can take the boy off the farm.. But you can't take the farm out of the boy. That makes me happy.
It was suggested that we open this up because some fans aren't active on Facebook, but still want to express themselves on some of Matt's updates and information, and some people just don't feel comfortable saying what they really want to say or what they think about a particular Matt Roloff posting because his Facebook page is strictly a fan page and some people don't feel comfortable expanding on their thoughts beyond "That's wonderful Matt, you're the greatest Matt" which is the response to most everything Matt posts on Facebook. You can find the log of Matt's previous comments before May 2011 and subsequent discussion about them located here:
Oh yeah, "Family First", the noted source for Roloff info. How gutsy Matt :) He says whatever BS he wants about it being the Roloffs choice to have the show cancelled and they don't know enough to do anything but believe him 100%. The only kind of interviews Matt has the courage to do.
I still don't get why Matt tries to get everyone to go through Dallah instead of just saying what he wants on his Facebook. Seems hokey.
Memo to Matt, Family First (whatever that is, some Christian site like Focus on the Family would be my guess?) is not the interview that people want to see!
I know that Matt is not being honest (shocker!) about it being the Roloffs decision to end the show, but here is another thing that doesn't make sense with Matt's story. If it was so stressful and Matt's staff Dallah writes about the pressures that led the husband of the Housewive star to commit suicide, then why do Matt and Amy seem totally thrilled that they are doing more reality tv for these specials?
Amy already said Molly and Jacob were glad the show was finished. Logic says Jacob must have some issues that go deeper than one renegade teacher for him to be expelled from the school that had a life long relationship with the Roloff family.
But the Roloffs are thrilled to be doing more tv. After supposedly ending it themselves because of all the pressure and according to them, the kids were happy the show was over, but now it's "Yay! We're doing more tv".
I think the truth is what Spirits reported. The Roloffs were in it for the long haul. The ratings dropped and TLC canned it. The Roloffs were left scrambling to make up for the lost money they were counting on. Matt wanted to get more money out of TLC and proposed the specials.
"online journalists" ROFLMAO! That title is claimed by any pretentious, untrained, uneducated, non-degreed blog author looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Matt should feel right at home with them.
As a journalist with a BA in the field, and who worked on newspapers, television and in PR, I find the "ireporters at CNN" the biggest load of BS ever. It's how rumour and lies spread over the internet, not "news."
Gosh! Whooda thunk it: The very first link off the Family First article (the italic print bio of Marijo Tinlin) leads right into the thick of ultra-conservative Christian patriot crap.
Now, to be completely fair, Family First does not appear to be a hard core Christian site affiliated with Focus on the Family. I could be wrong, but I didn't see anything that suggested it.
That said, Matt appears to be trying to head off criticism that whoring one's family to reality for money isn't terrible parenting. The reality of Russell Armstrong's death is that yes, it was due in part to his fears about his marital problems being aired publically (and due in part to his fears of his possibly shady financial fears being exposed on tv).
Matt, to a point, is just jumping on a bandwagon because he thinks it makes him look good to say "Hey, I chose to protect my family and stop filming so much!"
But the reality is that he put his family thru years of, per this article, 300 days per filming that restricted and isolated them from church, friends, family, and public events, for money. Its OBVIOUS that TLC canceled LPBW - Matt's inconsistent stories in public make it clear (not to rehash but, Matt publically bragging in may 2010 that the show was on for twoo more years when he now insists he told TLC the Roloff famiy desperately wanted to be done in Nov 2009 - why oh why would a family desperate to have the cameras out of their lives want to sign a 80 episode two year contract? And why would TLC not sue?)
The obvious way to not suffer from being on a reality show is to not be ON a reality show. Matt says a LOT that he's rich. There seems to be a huge downside (thats the entire point of this article) and he's deftly avoiding the expulsion issue that just might have something to do with the show..... Kinda sad really.
The episodes resorted to fake, far fetched cliff hangers. Like leading people to believe Matt had a heart attack. Like tricking people into thinking Rocky the dog died. Like trying to get people to think Matt and Amy were divorcing or selling the farm.
The reality is there wasn't much happening with the Roloffs and the episodes were dull. The family had too much control about privacy and what they would show and it affected viewership.
Paying the Roloffs for 4 individual specials spread out over 2 years when they can wait until something actually happens of note in their lives makes a lot more sense than paying the Roloffs for a weekly series that had lost a lot of ratings.
The son that is barely only enough to drive, has a car that is more expensive than most people put for their down payment on a house...
That's why Jeremy is nice to them despite the fact that he and all the Roloff kids say retard all the time and the Mackenzies campaign against it.
Rita, the reason why Matt is afraid is because Spirits knows too much truth about the Roloffs. Matt is all about protecting the Roloff brand and that means avoiding a ton of subjects and covering a lot up. He knows it would be exposed in a Spirits interview. That's why Matt ducks and instructs everybody to avoid Spirit.
Krisa, the ratings decline is well documented, as is Matt's public declaration in July 2010 that the show would be on the air for at least two more years. TLC and the Roloffs had a contract that guaranteed a minumum of 20 episodes and a maximum of 80, and that contract was negioated in early 2010 per Matt. 80 episodes would be 2 years.... so in March/April 2010 the Roloffs agreed to two more years if TLC wanted it.
Now Matt's story is that he wanted to be done in November of 2009, because the family was tired of filming. Which is fine, but means there was no reason to sign a two year, 20-80 episode contract.
We have the proof in front of us, don't we? TLC agreed to four one hour specials. Why would the Roloffs agree to do an entire season they didn't want to do... when they could have taken the easier option from the get go?
The obvious answer is ratings and cost. Funny how season six was if this was the height of popularity, involved no particularly expensive trips. And considering how many of the season six episodes were clearly using footage from earlier seasons, cost cutting measures were in effect.
I'm sure that the first Roloff special will do quite well in the ratings. What I would like to know - and frankly we won't get an answer - is who approached who?
And with respect, because Matt likes to word twist and imply rather than clearly state - I would need to see Matt say "We were not interested in doing more episodes, TLC had to approach us, TLC asked us, no one in the Roloff family even hinted we were willing to do more shows" in order to believe he hasn't been pounding down their door.
I have a background similar to yours. You and I BOTH know that neither Family First nor any "journalists" from other outlets came to Roloff seeking an interview. We both know that Roloff approached them, offering himself for interviews. (And perhaps approached them more than once.) I've read too many press releases and had too many phone calls to think otherwise, especially about a marginal character in need of exposure.
Much ado about nothing. We know Matt bought swampy land to use as a dumping ground and will attempt to incorporate it into pumpkin season.
Jeremy will fail miserably in California. He doesn't know the first thing about living on his own, about adult responsibilities or smart choices.
Because as you and I both know, Matt won't touch legit news outlets. And what legit news outlet would care about Matt and his reality-ho show that isn't even on TLC anymore??? He couldn't even get a legit news source to talk to him about bullying (his obvious ploy to jump on a hot topic so he could get his name out there - but yet is anti-gay!).
And Matt I thought you weren't right-wing, anti-gay, but "diversity speakers"?? Oh right, only you and your family should receive special treatment.
They need more land. They are counting on Jeremy failing and of course Zach is never going to leave the farm. They need more space for Jeremy, Zach, Mueller and the rest of their little boys to live forever.
M, I agree. They raised kids that are totaly unprepared for the real world. They don't know responsibilities and they don't have the manners. The only solution is to give them more land to play. Kind of like keeping them in a compound ;)
Wanna bet this "farmhouse" on this new piece of property is what Zach moves into soon and where Jeremy will go when he's done with Brooks?
Rich people suck! Believe the stereotype Rich people are snobs and pricks. If they were poor the Roloffs wouldn't have given them the time of day, vice versa is true too.
And just because the Mackenzies have a daughter with mental challenges doesn't automatically make them "good" people. They're rich snobs. Why do you think they like Jeremy so much?
"Matt: "om, Yea.. It's got more barns and building than I do... well... almost. lol Some can't be saved but the 3 main barns and probably a fourth i'm planning on definitely restoring for weddings and events etc. One of the barns is huge and gorgeous but needs to be 'rescued' fast. That's one reason i bought the farm.. among others. I posted a photo of the old house on here several months ago as a CLUE to what was going on. Do you remember a photo of Jer and Zach in front of an old beat up farm house. The caption was something like. "Jer and Zachs new house". ?? anyway, Zach may move in.. and Jer definetly want's me to save the house until he gets back from college."
I guess that comment by Matt settles who pays for Jeremy and Zach's expenses :) Notice it wasn't "Jeremy and Zach" bought the neighbor's farm. But who does he say is planning on living there? Yeah yeah, Jeremy and Zach. Nothing really changes. Amy will be close enough to wake them up in the morning and make them breakfast.
Jeremy and Zach desperately need to do something (separately) on their own that doesn't have Matt and Amy's paw prints all over it. Do they not have any pride?
"They (Jeremy and Zach) need to fly the coop and learn from their own mistakes, Matt you are a great Dad but they need their own identity and I think the show has given them complacency, hope I am making sense. As a Dad you need to teach them the skills so they can start their own farm and go from there. Take.
Very true. Obviously Jeremy going to Brooks is in the plans to be very temporary and short-term if he's always planning on living off Matt and Amy.
Records show that the Roloffs purchased 75 acres from Helvetia Acres LLC on Aug 5 (transaction recorded Aug. 10). Purchase price was $950,000.
Jeremy doesn't look very happy in that picture. I give him no more than a semester before he comes home...should be with his tail between his legs but he'll return to a heroes welcome from all the people that created the enabling environment that will lead to his failure in the real world.
Please Matt the lion comment - you are creeping me out with your son-fixation complex. I sure hope I'm not going to read a tell-all book by Jeremy in the future about his dad's real interest.
He's not a positive person. He's very negative, very snarky, very vindictive. Having an arrogant ego is not being a "positive" person.
He also should stop talking about how many fans he has on Facebook. It makes him look pathetic. Look at me! I have fans! Look at me I have fans!
I could see a mom being this idiotic but a father? Fathers usually don't show off photos of their half naked son and then call him a lion. Especially a father who is anti-gay.
I grew up on a real working farm in south central Mississippi and can tell you right now that Jeremy ain't no "farming country boy".
What he is is a pampered spoiled upper middle class suburban brat with no work ethic who would be begging for mercy if he came to work on my family farm (where we grow cotton, sugarcane, wheat and various other foodstuffs along with raising goats sheep and cattle).
The work day on a real working farm (not a hobby farm like Matt owns)starts for everyone at 5:00 in the morning everyday in the summer and doesn't end until after sundown which can sometimes be as late as 10:00 pm.
That's between 12 and 15 hours of hard work in the blistering heat of a Mississippi summer I'm sure that Jeremy would be complaining after one hour about being all "sweaty and smelly" because he's never done an honest days work in his life.
A newly caged lion looks annoyed, irritated and a bit angry at suddenly being confined to a small cage. Matt's comment was an obvious joke about Jeremy's facial expression that went over your head.
" I have never heard of a father like Matt who continually dotes on his son's good looks. ...Fathers usually don't show off photos of their half naked son and then call him a lion.
That's why he tells stories of how women come up to Jeremy over breakfast and throw their phone numbers at him. That's why Matt said his then 9 YEAR OLD son Jacob was a ladies man and turns it on when there are girls around...
And I think it's part business. Matt knows he needs to try to get the best ratings he can and he's obviously trying to get as many facebook comments as possible so he can use that in negotiations for more entertainment deals and posting Jeremy shirtless gets comments.
Look no further than the family that took Jeremy and Matt on the yacht. They are rolling in $$$$$ compare them to how the Roloffs treat fans without $$$.
My suggestion for Matt objectively about what to do with the farm land he purchased, would be something that I think he already mentioned.
Friends of mine own a farm up north. He worked on pipes for a company that made him good money, but a lot of travel. His wife decided she wanted to use some of their property to hold weddings. Once they get a reputation as a good place to have your wedding, they'll be so busy Matt wouldn't know what to do.
With that much land you could get creative. Design and build a reception area, bathrooms, maybe an outdoor over hang in case of rain.
If Matt is reading, although I have my fair share of criticisms for the Roloffs, that is my suggestion. Weddings are the way to best utilize land like that. Much better than growing Christmas trees.
Heh, I always thought Matt's emphasis on Jeremy's looks was Matt bragging about being a stud by proxy, a sort of "Look at what I made!" type of thing.
Tyson - its interesting, isn't it, how the emphasis on money keeps coming up? I mean, there's a variety of Matt Roloff defenders who show up, declare themselves to be some minor worker for Matt and then advise us all on HOW RICH Matt is.
Not, you know, his charity work, or his committment to the local youth group or his pious nature... all these people come and brag about how much money Matt is making.
Now, don't get me wrong. I like money too (in fact I am delighting in that not only am I on vacation right now but tomorrow I am off to Dragoncon and there's plenty of cash around for whatever shiny thing I see - there's a lot of shiny at dragoncon)... I just find it... telling, that if these people are for real, that there's a large group of people who feel the most important thing about Matt Roloff is that he's making money.
I mean, I get it, its how Matt feels like a man, by having a lot of money and buying flashy things etc etc... but yes, its becoming very clear that Matt does think less of people who don't choose to live as he does.
I'm not shocked by this, but I do wonder how many of Matt's fans understand that he's not terribly sympathetic to their tales of woe on how they can't scrape up the dough to attend pumpkin season. Because really, the vast majority of the fans of LPBW do not live on a farm with some acreage and its been made very clear to me that the Roloffs very much think less of people who don't live as they do.
I have been around plenty of dads proud of their sons - after all I have two children still in school and participating in school activities. Have yet to hear any father call their son ~ handsome, comely, a lion, an eagle or whatever adjective you choose.
I can't imagine what a group of parents would do if they heard it in casual conversation - the hinky meter would go up as well as eyebrows.
Most dads praise their sons athletic prowness or their success with their grades. Oh, I forget, nothing to praise Jeremy in the grade department so I guess that explains Matt's comments. :)
The thing that annoys me is that the Roloff kids, especially Jeremy, but Molly made it clear, all think of themselves as being examples of Jesus Christ. Living as close to how Jesus wants to live as possible.
BeckyM, why do you interpret Matt's comment of Jeremy looking "like a caged lion" as even remotely sexual? It clearly was not said that way. Matt was absolutely speaking about how uncomfortable Jeremy looked in the photo, which he does. What is creepy is how your mind always lurks into those lurid places. Could it be that you conjure up these lewd controversies for your own bizarre and deviant inclinations?
*Lest anyone plays the "Janice has the RIGHT to her OPINION - yes, yes she does, and no one is stopping her. I am just reminding you Roloff lovers why "If you have nothing nice to say about the Roloffs, then SHUT UP HATER" is basically wrong.
Personally, I found nothing remotely "sexual" about Matt's comments, but I do agree with the basic point, that Matt is a bit fixated on the child he sees himself in. I'd also point out that its all part of how Matt infantilizes his children. Daddy's widdle farmer boy in his big boy apartment looking all sad lion faced awwww.
I'm sure this will part of the upcoming special so I am not overwhelmed with sympathy for Jeremy since he's getting a check for this.... But I have often wondered how Matt would feel if he was filmed the same way his children were.... Of course that will never happen... Daddy needs the privacy of his own bedroom, the children can deal with cameras in their personal space.
For 3 years he has been making the choice to sign a contract and happily agree to filming. He doesn't even get the benefit of the "poor child, Matt is subjecting him to being filmed in his bedroom" anymore.
I also have been in the minority for years on this site and other LPBW discussion areas because I didn't not have sympathy for good girl Molly as the victim.
I took heat for my opinion. Let's just say, I was not the least bit surprised when people finally saw a glimpse of the real Molly Roloff acting on her own and saw that she had the very same attitude that Jeremy and all the Roloffs display.
All the Roloff kids have been complete brats when it comes to the show. They happily accept all the perks, but display a horrible attitude towards it all. I don't care about legal adult age, Molly has been old enough and smart enough for several years to know how it works. No sympathy from me.
Giles - trust me - I am not overwhelmed with sympathy either - but I have always considered the bedroom issue a sore point simply because Matt puts his own bedroom off limits.
Now off to dragoncon! On the one hand, will be having tons of fun, on the other, there's usually a lot of lines and I have my ipad so I may post sporadically.
I don't believe them because I know from reading Spirits that TLC cancelled it, not the Roloffs decision. But the Roloffs public stance is they are only doing the specials because they wanted less time with the cameras then before.
Matt really needs to take some tips from the Kardashian mom. Kris Jenner really knows how to work her kids hard on the ho-stroll. A glamourous woman doing nothing, but willing to show her assets and spend lots of money on outfits and jewelery, wins over a so-so looking kid with curly hair, bad grades, no job, and a horrible attitude.
None of these people are remotely "Christian" in how they act. All they do is post Bible quotes and think they're living for Jesus...
Oh yeah Matt, Jeremy and company...you're really abounding in the work of the lord with your slurs, bigotry, love of material goods and money, insults towards fans, the way you look down on people that aren't wealthy/treat people with money differently and you're embracing underage drinking while attending a church that plainly says it's wrong.
Matt says it is feeding time to all his pet friends on his farm. I guess they would be my friends to if I did not really have any human friends like Matt seems not to have.
At least Matt can tell his farm animals all his misleading lies and ideas and made up stories, for they the farm animals won't talk back to him nor will they tell other's Matt's secrets.
I'm kind of sadly amused by some of Matt's Facebook fans declaring that Jeremy has wonderful friends because Audrey quotes the Bible.
I sort of detest it. Either live it or don't. Quoting the Bible doesn't make you any "closer to Jesus" than standing in a garage makes you a car...
Show some substance in how you behave and you treat others. With your integrity and character. Not in whipping out Bible quotes thinking it makes you this wonderful Christian person.
Roloff is wrong about Herman Cain. Cain WAS CEO of Godfather's Pizza, but is now host of a right-wing radio talk show and a candidate for President with connections to the Tea Party.
1) Virulently anti-Muslim. He has said he would not appoint any Muslim-American to a government post or judgeship; that communities have a right to ban construction of mosques; that Muslims are seeking to install Sharia law in the US.
2) Virulently anti-gay. He has said that gay marriage will "destroy the moral fabric of America"; called repeatedly for reinstatement of Don't Ask, Don't Tell (DADT); claimed that Obama's decision not to defend the Defense of Marriage ACT (DOMA) "borders on treason."
3) Is touted strongly by the ultra-right American Family Association and Brian Fischer, who has called for a return to "Biblical" law, including public stoning, and criminalization of homosexuality.
4) A race- and religion-baiter. He has said that he is "the only black man" in the race for President [whatever that might mean], in addition to his statements about Muslims; is unable to see a difference between radical Islam (a minority) and the loyalties of assimilated American Muslims.
He's a failed businessman who bankrupted a company that had run successfully for more than thirty years before he took it over, and before that he was fired from the Kansas City Federal Reserve for incompetence (which takes a special kind of stupid to do).
He has no knowledge of economics and plans to rely on massive military spending/tax cuts/spending cuts/deregulation and the fantasy of "trickle down economics" to fix the economy because he is an idiot who thinks that using the same failed policies that have been used for thirty years to screw the poor and middle class are still a good idea.
I used to have hope for Molly, but after the You Tube fiasco, it's obvious that Molly is no different than any of the other Roloffs.
It shocks me that there are any people that still take Matt at his word. Don't they know almost everything the guy says is either a hoax, taken out of context and all meant to promote more money for the Roloffs? Everything he posts about and teases about is just an extension of the misleading LPBW preview commercials that fans got familiar with to make it seem like something note worthy was actually happening.
"If you name call .. you'll be blocked from posting. It's ok to say you think Cain has some ideas that are biggoted. But to call him a pig.. Is inappropriate and childish.. I don't have time for name calling."
Oh and Matt? What about yourself and your dear friend Pondo? Name calling your customers because someone didn't like your new parking fee.
Once again name calling is wrong when others do it against someone Matt likes, but it's perfectly alright when it's a Roloff or a Roloff friend doing it.
Well, Greg, do you expect Matt to treat others as he would like to be treated? He owns a *million dollar home and property* and deserves to never be criticized. Criticize him or his family though? You are a *douchebag* and Matt will send his little hit squad to *kick your hater ass*.
Amy is a Roloff so like Matt, she's *better* than the peon fans and can name call politicians. Matt setting up his own little forum to protect and coddle his favorite name callers is what's childish... But Matt Roloff is a Roloff and as is pointed out so often by his one name only employees who are much lower on the totem pole, he *makes money and is rich* and apparently when you're *rich* and god knows Matt insists he was *rich* long before being on tv, you can have one rule for yourself, and a different rule for the scum beneath you.
Folks? This is why people think Matt is arrogant and thinks he's better than others. He's got one rule for himself, thawt he can call people names etc because he wants to, but if you do it too, per Matt, you're childish. I really wonder what Matt genuinely thinks about that fan that mueller told to eff off and committ suicide.... My guess? He doesn't give a damn since the peon fan wasn't a Roloff associate.
Matt is such a big liar. They aren't having Molly's birthday party "before all her friends go back to school? What the hell? Most of her friends go to Faith Bible like Molly herself.
They're holding a "pretend" birthday for filming purposes. That's what the Christian Roloffs do, they lie and pretend for the TV cameras because Jesus advises the Roloffs never to be authentic and honest...
Anon, hey maybe I'm wrong, but that would be shocking. If Molly's birthday is in the specials know that it's all a hoax and it's just the Roloffs faking and pretending, like they did when they pretended it was Jacob's birthday in August when they were in the Bahamas.
The Roloffs love of Mueller is so distasteful. I wonder (actually I don't because I know) how the Roloffs would feel if someone treated their family member the way Mueller has treated others and said the cruel things he has to people?
Uh Matt? Do you think maybe, just maybe, the fact that you and Amy encourage your 14 year old son to hang out with a 20 year old with a dirty mouth, who is an underage drinker, allegedly likes to smoke up and a whole host of other sketchy qualities, just might contribute to your 14 year old having an attitude that got him expelled from school?
Matt's facebook crowd is pathetic. Talk about gullible. They don't know the first thing about Mueller. What Matt says about someone does not make it truth...
If they were filming to get the Jeremy leaving stuff, then it sounds like having Molly's party is being done to cram it altogether. No?
Jason, I don't think it will be long. This is what happens when you coddle someone and treat them like a special snowflake the way the Roloffs have down with Jeremy. I would be stunned if he could handle the real world.
**Disclaimer** I don't know if he's experiencing the real world yet in California. If the TLC crew and Producer Chris is with him then that's not the real world, that's just an extension of the hand holding that has contributed to Jeremy's problems.
Awww, it's always heartbreaking to hear that a racist, bigoted, animal abusing, fan-insulting snob that treats people differently based on their wealth, is crashing his bike! I'm really torn up about it. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!
Oh that's right, Matt and the Roloffs, as big hearted loving followers of Christ don't care about anyone else except for themselves, thus Mueller's mean spiritedness and mocking of other people doesn't matter.
Although I don't wish anything too too horrible on Jeremy, he sure is a hard person to like when you know the truth about what he's really like as opposed to all the phoniness of his public image. It makes a little bit of bad luck seem welcome.
Christy, exactly. Say one word about a Roloff and Matt is braying to the world how it's childish and that you're a hater... But let mueller tell a fan to eff off and commit suicide and Matt calls in his son. Mueller Roloff is blessed for his hate!
I'm skeptical too for how long, but do you all realize the rest of his friends are doing the same old? Mueller is doing nothing with his life. Many of his Faith Bible friends and friends from Faith JR high that he smokes and drinks with, aren't even going to PCC. They just live off their parents money having party after party.
Then they will all reunite in the Farmhouse that daddy bought them, and Jacob will be home-schooled of course. Everyone will applaud! Evil high school! Jacob is much better off at home.
Oh, Timothy then according to you an Architect who designs a building has no right to feel proud or accomplished because he doesn't actually saw the wood or nail the boards?
Molly's Castle was started when Molly was six, correct? And was finished by an outside company that pretty clearly (based on the old shots of the castle) redid the entire design.
Is that the big question? Since you are spending your life in angst about questions such as that, an intervention needs to be held, stat!
Wow surprise. Another poster that attempts to make the discussion about Rap by insulting after Rap asks a very valid question with an obvious answer....Would Matt have ever completed Molly's Castle, that went unfinished for years and years, if it wasn't for the TLC tradeouts?
Everything a Roloff "accomplishes" has a giant asterisk beside it because most people don't consider having professionals give you things because you're on a reality tv show a major accomplishment. "Look at what other people gave me and built for me!!" is a big source of pride?
Hey, what about the topic at hand? Do you think Matt Roloff should be applauded as the architect for building a play castle that took ten years, a complete redesign by professionals, and money from TLC? I mean, do you think Matt Roloff is a MAN who BUILT that castle with nothing but his own grit and determination?
Hey lets talk about the Tower of Terror and how Matt built that with his bare hands as well, and how he built the trebuchet with no help, and how he manfully brayed how he was gonna rebuild it bigger and better because he's a fighter! :)
My guess about the "shooting" of the sign still is that it was Jeremy and his friends drunk one night looking for something to amuse themselves with after killing some birds and torturing the cat got boring.
Well, having lived in a more rural area than the Roloffs growing up, I must say... a sign without bullet holes is either new, or a challenge :)
I don't see anything *ominous* about the bullet holes. Just good Christian kids with guns living extraordinary lives, god bless them for their vandalism... Don't see why Matt is complaining, its good boy fun to shoot signs! ;)
