The reality is that Heyward-Bey was one of the only negatives to come from the Raiders season in 2011. They actually made progress for the first time in nearly a decade.
Right now you have Heyward-Bey serving as nothing more than a bench warmer. Those other receivers may not be as fast, but they are far better at making big plays, which is what the Raiders were truly about during their glory days.
