This article will hopefully help you be more successful at selling items or services on Craigslist. If you are still having trouble on how to create a post, or read posts, please look at my other Craigslist Article.
So, you decided to sell your old computer, couch, chair, or old rare ceramic poodle. However, after you put your post up all you are getting is spam and maybe only one or two offers. You would have very little to choose from with offers from customers. What did you do wrong??
Pictures: If you haven’t yet, I suggest you invest in a digital camera, they are very popular, small, very affordable now a days, and can directly put pictures onto your computer. If someone sees a post for an “Old Computer” and there is no picture, they are going to think that it is a piece of junk not worth their time. Put a picture up, they can see for themselves what it is your are actually selling.
Heading: Ok, so looking up above we talked about an “Old Computer,” not to many people would seem to interested in getting an old computer, associating it with not working properly, or broken. Change that heading to “Selling prime 2003 customized P.C.”, or “Need to upgrade, selling old computer.” Either of those sound a lot better, especially by giving a reason why you are selling the computer in the first place.
