Hey folks, today I am going to show you a very simple dessert recipe for making Oreo truffles. I am telling you, this is about as simple as it gets, and they taste simply amazing. Not only do these Oreo truffles taste amazing, but they also look like a professional Swiss chocolate maker made them. That is if you add a little white chocolate on them for looks. First off, you are going to need some cream cheese, some chocolate to melt – I used semi sweet chocolate chips, a big pack of Oreos, and that is all.

First you need to get the Oreo crushed into a powder, or just finer textures than they already are. To do this, I usually just dump them in a blender. After you have the Oreos all blended up, then you will pour them into a bowl and then you will add the cream cheese. As to how much cream cheese, you will have to find out as you go. I usually just add a little at a time until it looks and feels about right. Oh yea, I almost forgot. I simply knead the cream cheese in with the Oreos using my hands, but you can use a spoon or whatever you want, it is simply faster and easier for me to use my hands. Once you have it all mixed up good, then all you will have to do is make some little balls out of the truffle mix, dip them into the chocolate and then put them into the refrigerator. You shouldn’t have to leave them in the fridge for more than fifteen minutes before they harden. Then you are done, and you will have some tasty, easily made Oreo Truffles.
