Remove the Hurricane Storm Clouds From Your Tropical Paradise Relationship
By Angela Baden Co-Author: Jamie Gray II

The islands of the Bahamas are the perfect tropical paradise. Warm breezes, beautiful sunsets, perfect temperatures all year round. The atmosphere is relaxing and worry-free. The water is warm and clear and perfect for swimming or snorkeling. The beaches are beautiful and inviting and the feeling of sand between your toes is a feeling like no other.

This is just like the relationship of your dreams. Warm, beautiful, perfect. The feeling you have in your heart about your relationship is truly like a tropical paradise. You see nothing but clear skies and puffs of fluffy white clouds. You do not need anyone else because your tropical paradise relationship is complete. You have the time to explore each other and learn your likes and dislikes. Nothing can disturb your paradise-like relationship.

However, the tropical paradise that is the Bahamas is right in the Atlantic Hurricane zone and is susceptible to intense winds and torrential rain. Is your relationship susceptible to the hurricane storm clouds that could rip it apart? If it is, are you prepared?

How can you tell if storm clouds are forming in your relationship?

  • Are you starting to argue more than you are agreeing?
  • Is one partner criticizing the other on a consistent basis?
  • Is your partner staying out much longer than usual?
  • Have you stopped communicating with each other?
  • Are you no longer feeling happy in your relationship?

Then, it may be time for some serious deep thought about whether to rethink your relationship. Is it worth saving? Is it time to break up? You have to be convinced that this is really what you want. Perhaps you have grown away from each other. You may decide you want to work it out. In any case, you have to be honest with yourself and your partner and realize that, perhaps that tropical paradise relationship was not true love after all.
